MENA Newswire News Desk: Air Arabia, the largest low-cost carrier in the Middle East and North Africa, has announced the resumption of direct flights between Ras Al Khaimah and Jeddah, Saudi Arabia. The service is set to begin on December 15th, 2024, and will operate three times a week, offering enhanced travel flexibility for passengers between the two cities. Flights will be available on Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Sundays, providing additional convenience for travelers.

Air Arabia resumes direct flights from Ras Al Khaimah to Jeddah

This decision follows Air Arabia’s ongoing efforts to expand its services from Ras Al Khaimah, a move aimed at bolstering the emirate’s tourism and trade sectors. Adel Al Ali, Group Chief Executive Officer of Air Arabia, expressed his enthusiasm for the resumption, stating, “We are pleased to restart our non-stop flights from Ras Al Khaimah to Jeddah, a key destination in Saudi Arabia. The three weekly flights to Jeddah reflect our commitment to expanding operations from Ras Al Khaimah and supporting the emirate’s tourism and trade sectors. We look forward to welcoming passengers on the first flight.”

Air Arabia’s network from Ras Al Khaimah already includes direct routes to cities such as Cairo, Islamabad, Lahore, Peshawar, and Calicut. The addition of Jeddah further strengthens the airline’s regional connectivity, along with a recently announced new route to Moscow. The resumption of the Ras Al Khaimah-Jeddah flights is expected to cater to the growing demand for affordable and convenient travel options in the region, as well as supporting the wider economic ties between the UAE and Saudi Arabia.

The three-times-weekly service will also provide passengers with more flexibility in their travel plans, particularly for those traveling for religious, business, or leisure purposes. With its expanding operations, Air Arabia continues to build on its reputation as the region’s most prominent low-cost carrier, offering value-driven services across a broad and growing network.

The airline’s continued investment in Ras Al Khaimah reinforces its strategic commitment to supporting the emirate’s aviation hub ambitions. The airline will deploy its modern fleet of Airbus A320 aircraft for the resumed route, ensuring passengers experience Air Arabia’s renowned standards of safety and comfort. As the travel sector continues to recover, Air Arabia remains focused on expanding its route network to meet passenger demand.
